Living History Day – Mid-June every year!
Each year the event grows as the word spreads throughout the region about the quality of the activities and entertainment. Several thousand visitors enjoy the operating antique steam engines, caterpillars and drag saw demonstrations, horse drawn hay rides, chainsaw sculpturing, pioneer skills demonstrations, and food concessions. They are also treated to seeing the shingle mill and a sawmill in actual operation, an authentic blacksmith, spinning and weaving, live entertainment and a tomahawk throwing demonstration.
Live entertainment is never better than under the towering Collier Park pines and has included Michael Barker-Cowboy Poet, Steve Martin “The Singing Logger”, Klamath Tribes Youth Dancers, BrainStorm, Cascade Cloggers, and the Linkville Ramblers.
